Mitsubishi Wins Power Plant Orders From China, S. Korea

Tokyo, June 19 (Jiji Press)–Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. said Thursday it has received orders for blast-furnace-gas fired gas turbine-cycle power generation plants from China and South Korea.
The value of the orders was not made public.
The orders are for a 150-megawatt plant for the Shougang Group’s Qian’an Iron and Steel Works based in the Chinese province of Hebei, and for two 142-megawatt plants for POSCO Power Corp.’s Gwangyang Works based in the South Korean city of Gwangyang.END
