Coastal Foods Launches First ‘Original’ Recipe Rollout

Coastal Foods, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CSFD) today announced the signing of a multi-year agreement to act as exclusive manufacturer of the entire line of liqueur cakes created by Texas-based Bev’s Original, Inc.

From his office in Houston, Texas, Coastal Foods President Bill Evans stated, “This is an exceptional opportunity for Coastal Foods. This is the first major manufacturing agreement for Bev’s since their original national rollout, about one year ago.” Coastal Foods first full-year revenue projections are anticipated to reach at least three-quarters of a million dollars.

Bev’s recently launched their “Original Rum Cake” line with Texas’ leading independent grocery store chain, H-E-B Grocery Company.

Bev’s Original, Inc. CEO Beverly Roger (Ro-jay) stated, “We are very excited about working with Coastal Foods. They paid very close attention to our exacting recipe requirements, from production of any size order, to packaging and distribution.”

From his office in Cypress, Texas, Bev’s Original’s COO Harry Roger added, “They understood that ours is a 2nd-generation women- owned family business, and treated us like family. This was very important to us. We are committed to continue the rollout of our entire line of Bev’s Original products through Coastal Foods.”

Coastal Foods, Inc. is a manufacturer of frozen bakery products (cookies, cakes, and pies), dessert toppings, muffins, brownies, sheet cakes, Bundt cakes, and frozen biscuits.
