China Airlines Appoints New President

Taiwan-based China Airlines has appointed Huang-Hsiang Sun as its new president.
In his airline career, Mr Sun has served as president of Formosa Airlines and TransAsia Airways, vice president of Mandarin Airlines, general manager of China Airlines's Europe and San Francisco branches, and vice president of the Taiwanese carrier's passenger sales and corporate planning divisions.
Mr Sun is currently chairman of Yangtze River Express Airlines, which is 25% owned by China Airlines.
