AirTran to Launch Non-Stop Flights From Baltimore to San Juan

AirTran Airways has announced that it will add non-stop flights between the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport in the US, and the San Juan Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in Puerto Rico, beginning December 20, 2008.
The airline has also announced that it will offer an additional second daily flight between Orlando, Florida, and San Juan. beginning November 2, 2008, and a second daily flight between Atlanta, Georgia, and San Juan beginning December 18, 2008. All flights to San Juan will be served with the airline's fuel-efficient Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways, said: "Despite the difficult fuel environment, AirTran Airways has added additional non-stop flights for Baltimore-Washington area residents to San Juan, a popular vacation destination."
