McCoy’s Reworks Tortillas Offering
McCoy’s is relaunching its range of Tortillas snacks in a drive to position all of its products as’man crisps’. Two flavours have been added to the United Biscuitsowned range – hot Chilli and Nacho Cheese. They will be rolled out next month to coincide with the Euro 2008 football championships.
The previous range, which included a Hickory Smoked Ribs flavour variant, was missing its target male consumers, according to United Biscuits.
The UK tortilla snack market is worth Pounds 100m and is growing at 4% year on year, according to United Biscuits. It is aiming to increase its share of the market against competitors such as Doritos.
