GE Energy Receives Six Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Contracts From Texas

Power engineering major GE Energy has received six contracts totaling nearly $240 million for 11 aeroderivative gas turbines from Texas, US.

GE Energy is providing a 60Hz LM2500+G4 unit to the University of Texas at Austin, two LMS100 units to Topaz Power Group’s Laredo power station, four dual fuel LM6000PC Sprint gas turbine generators to CPS Energy for the VH Braunig power plant in San Antonio.

The power engineering company is also providing two additional LM6000PC Sprint gas turbine generators for the expansion of Austin’s Sand Hill energy center, one LM6000PC Sprint gas turbine generator to Bryan Texas Utilities for its Dansby facility expansion and one LM6000PD Sprint gas turbine generator for Thermal Energy Corporation to support operations at the Texas Medical Center located in Houston.
