Posted on: Tuesday, 1 July 2008, 09:01 CDT
TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TSSP), announced today that it has appointed Mr. Joe Silva as the company's Sales and Marketing Manager. Mr. Silva has been hired to assist the company in handling the increased demands for its products and specifically the overflow from several trade shows that the company recently attended. Mr. Silva will also be designing and implementing a new marketing strategy to improve the national awareness of TrendSetter Solar Products.
TrendSetter has recently displayed the new PiggyBack system and other solar products in booths while attending the California Green Summit at the Sacramento Convention Center and Solar 2008 in San Diego. Mr. Silva led the marketing effort for these shows with the introduction of a new display trailer. The new display trailer now allows the company to quickly set up and show the products with minimal effort.
TrendSetter CEO, Dirk Atkinson, stated, "Mr. Silva is a valuable addition to the TrendSetter team. He brings years of strong sales and successful marketing experience to TrendSetter and has already established his worth in his short tenure with the Company."
As the inquiries and resulting customer list from Mr. Silva's efforts at the shows continue to unfold, the potential for increasing sales is encouraging. The most valuable customers from these shows are installation dealers with the potential for consistent, repeat sales of the Piggyback system. PiggyBack sales growth is expected to set a sales base line as a core company product.
