Republic Airways Reports a 12% Increase in June 2008 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2008. The company generated 868.0 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 12.3% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 17.2% to 1.11 billion. Block hours were 63,032 in June 2008, a 12.0% increase over June 2007. Load factor was 78.5% versus 81.9% in June 2007. A total of 1,698,401 passengers were carried during the month, a 16.5% increase over the same month last year.

Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America. The airlines offer scheduled passenger service on approximately 1,300 flights daily to 117 cities in 34 states, Canada, Mexico and Jamaica through airline services agreements with six U.S. airlines. All of the airlines' flights are operated under their airline partner brand, such as AmericanConnection, Continental Express, Delta Connection, Frontier Airlines, United Express and US Airways Express.
