EDF Energies Nouvelles Commissions New Wind Farm in UK

EDF Energies Nouvelles, which is engaged in the production of electricity, has commissioned the Walkway wind farm, which has an installed capacity of 14MW.
According to the company, the new wind farm located in County Durham comprises seven wind turbines, each with a unit capacity of 2MW. They were supplied by German manufacturer REpower.
Including the Walkway wind farm, EDF Energies Nouvelles has 117MW in gross capacity in service in the UK. Three further wind farms with a total of 88MW in gross capacity are currently under construction.
