Over 96m Dollars of Metals Exported From Iran's Khuzestan in Three Months

Text of report by Iranian state-run provincial TV from Khuzestan on 5 July
Over 187,000 tonnes of metal products have been exported through Khuzestan Province during the first three months of the current year [20-March-20 June 2008].
The head of the Industries and Mines Organization in Khuzestan [Hasanzadeh] said the value of the exported goods was over 96m dollars, and said various kinds of metals, steel bars, blooms and billets were among the exported products.
Hasanzadeh added that the province's metal products were exported to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Sudan.
