Petrobras, ConocoPhillips Sign Wide-Ranging Co-Operation Agreement

Petrobras and ConocoPhillips have signed a memorandum of understanding to identify opportunities for co-operation in oil and gas exploration, production, refining, sugar-based ethanol production, transportation and marketing projects based on mutual interest and economic feasibility.
Under this agreement, the two companies will explore opportunities to create an integrated value chain to bring sugar-based ethanol to world markets.
The companies also hope to capture business synergies in global exploration and production, and refining and marketing activities.
