Frontier Airlines June Load Factor Up

Frontier Airlines has reported that its load factor for June 2008 was 87.2%, an increase of 0.2 points, compared to 87% in June 2007.

The mainline revenue passenger miles decreased 1.1% to 925.91 million in June 2008, from 936.49 million in the same period of 2007. Available seat miles decreased 1.3% to 1.06 billion, compared to 1.08 billion in June 2007.

The airline has carried 1.01 million passengers during June 2008, an increase of 1.8%, compared to 984,864 passengers in June 2007. The airline has reported passenger yield of 11.71 cents for the month of June 2008, an increase of 1.8% from the same period of 2007.

Lynx Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Frontier Airlines, has reported revenue passenger miles of 33.3 million and available seat miles of 48.74 million respectively.

This resulted in a load factor for June 2008 of 68.3%. Lynx Aviation has carried 96,947 passengers during June 2008, generating passenger yield of $0.234.
