Singapore Airlines Likely to Increase Frequency From India

Singapore Airlines plans to increase the number of flights from India, with the addition of five new weekly flights from Delhi and two from Bangalore, from September 2008, reported the Economic Times, citing the Press Trust of India.

Currently, Singapore Airlines operates 58 weekly flights to Singapore from eight destinations in India.

The newly planned services will increase the number of flights operated by the airline from Bangalore to 12 and from Delhi to 14. The airline is reportedly planning to increase the frequency from Mumbai and Chennai also.
