Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Three major subsidiaries of Dongfang Electric Company Limited (SSE:600875) (Deyang, Sichuan), the flagship company of Dongfang Electric Corporation (Chengdu, Sichuan), have signed major equipment-supply contracts for two coal-fired power plants in India. The subsidiaries, Dongfang Boilers Group Company Limited (DBC) (Deyang), Dongfang Steam Turbine Works (Deyang) and Dongfang Electric Machinery Company Limited (Deyang), signed the contracts with an engineering division of Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation (Jinan), a fully owned subsidiary of Shandong Electric Power Group (Jinan).
