Real Goods Solar Announces Appointment of New National Sales Director

Real Goods Solar (NASDAQ:RSOL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kent Halliburton as Director of Sales. Mr. Halliburton will lead a team of 20 sales representatives, currently in California and Colorado, consolidating the sales efforts from the recent acquisitions of Marin Solar and Carlson Solar.
Mr. Halliburton is passionate about the solar industry and sustainable business development, and brings over three years of solar sales experience from other top solar companies. His last position was in sales management at REC Solar, where he helped open the New Jersey market. He was subsequently promoted to San Francisco Bay Area Sales Manager where he successfully built a team of 7 sales consultants. Prior to that, he interned at Borrego Solar in Berkeley, CA. Mr. Halliburton chose to join Real Goods Solar to continue promoting the vision it started with 30 years ago--promoting the adoption of a clean, renewable energy driven future.
Mr. Halliburton graduated summa cum laude from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
