LAN to Launch Toronto-Santiago Service
LAN Airlines has announced that it will launch a new service to Santiago, Chile, from Toronto, Canada, starting September 3, 2008.
The airline said that it will offer five flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays to Santiago via New York City on its fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft. The Toronto-New York-Santiago route will operate from Terminal-3 at the Pearson International Airport in Toronto.
Pablo Yunis, vice president of North & Central America for LAN Airlines, said: “LAN has had its sights set on Canada for quite some time. Our goal is to connect South America with one of the most important cultural and financial centers in North America and showcase our signature service to Canadian travelers.”
