Uzbek Energy Group to Construct Four Small Power Plants Worth 60m Dollars

The Uzsuvenergo [Uzbek Water Energy] association intends to put into operation four small hydroelectric power stations worth a total of 60m dollars in Uzbekistan by the end of 2008.
A source at Uzsuvenergo said that it was proposed to invest most of the money in the construction of the Andijon small hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 50 megawatts and the Ohangaron small hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 21 megawatts, costing a total of 52m dollars.
