Air Atlanta Icelandic and Saudi Arabian Airlines Sign Wet-Lease Agreement

Air Atlanta Icelandic has signed a new wet-lease agreement with Saudi Arabian Airlines, adding yet another B747 to its number of aircraft operating on behalf of Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Air Atlanta Icelandic said that, starting July 22, 2008, this will be the sixth B747 aircraft that it operates on behalf of Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Baldvin Hermannsson, vice president of sales an marketing for Air Atlanta Icelandic, said: "We are adding a B747-200SF aircraft to our fleet in Saudi Arabia, operating scheduled cargo services between Dammam, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Brussels for a period of one year."
