Alaska Airlines Launches Daily Service Between Seattle and Kahului

Alaska Airlines has launched a daily, year-round service between Seattle and Kahului, Hawaii, on the island of Maui.
In addition, the airline will also begin thrice-weekly service between Anchorage, Alaska, and Maui starting October 31, 2008, through April 25, 2009, and year-round service between Seattle and Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii, beginning November 17, 2008.
The new flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin.
Gregg Saretsky, executive vice president of flight and marketing at Alaska Airlines, said: "Our customers have welcomed our new Hawaii service with open arms. In addition to Kauai and Honolulu, which we began serving last winter, customers now can enjoy Alaska's unique brand of service and earn Mileage Plan miles to the beautiful island of Maui."
