Bord Gais to Supply Power to Paddy Power Outlets Across Ireland

Bord Gais Energy Supply has signed an agreement to supply and provide electricity to bookmaker Paddy Power 185 outlets across Ireland. The agreement, which is worth in excess of E1 million annually, is reportedly one Ireland’s largest retail electricity supply contracts.

Bord Gais’s growing electricity business, which compliments its existing natural gas supply business, currently supplies leading companies such as, Glanbia, CRH, FBD Insurance and Clerys with their electricity requirements.

Fergus Walsh, small and medium enterprise sales manager with Bord Gais Energy Supply, said: “This is an important contract for Bord Gais Energy Supply as we grow our electricity footprint to business in Ireland. The agreement coincides with a major marketing campaign aimed at attracting Irish businesses, large and small, to switch to Bord Gais Energy Supply.”
