Abu Dhabi Airports and SSP Finalize Contract for Food Outlets

SSP, an operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations, has signed a three-year contract with Abu Dhabi Airports Company granting SSP exclusive management of all Abu Dhabi Airport’s outlets within the new terminal three building.

Brands managed by SSP range from full service to casual dining restaurants, as well as convenience stores and fast-food outlets. At Abu Dhabi, the brands SSP will feature include Burger King, Sahten, which will serve Lebanese food, Gino’s pizza, Yum Cha, a Chinese concept, Upper Crust, Segafredo, Caffe Ritazza, Hippopotamus, Bill Bentley, Flavours and SSP’s new bakery brand Panopolis.

Khalifa Al Mazrouie, chairman and managing director of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), said: “ADAC’s vision and mission is to constantly strive to provide best-in-class services to our customers and today’s contract signing with SSP underlines that commitment.”

In line with this contract, SSP will commence its operations from the opening of Abu Dhabi International Airport’s terminal three, which is scheduled to be operational by late October 2008.
