Delta to Launch Daily Non-Stop Flights to Tegucigalpa
Delta Air Lines has announced that it will launch its first-ever non-stop daily flights between Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the Toncontin Airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, starting December 18, 2008.
The new flights will be operated using new Boeing 737-700 aircraft, which will be delivered to Delta in 2008. Delta is offering customers with a one-way introductory fare of $329 for travel between January 5, 2009, and March 31, 2009. Round-trip ticket purchase is required and tickets must be purchased by August 4, 2008.
Christophe Didier, vice president of sales and government affairs for Latin America and the Caribbean at Delta, said: “We have been looking forward to flying into Tegucigalpa for a long time, and the new 737-700 aircraft makes it possible, complementing the long list of Central American destinations Delta serves.”
