Heather Mills Gets It and Spends It

Heather Mills celebrated her divorce from former Beatle Paul McCartney by taking 20 friends on an outing to Richard Branson's private island in the Caribbean.
The extended party cost Mills 250,000 pounds -- almost $500,000 -- The Daily Mail reported. She paid for a private jet to fly her guests from Antigua to Necker and put on vegan dinners every night.
Mills received 24 million pounds ($47.7 million) in the settlement that ended her marriage to McCartney. The Mail said the couple's divorce became final May 19, only five days after a court granted a decree nisi, although the process usually takes weeks.
Since the divorce, Mills has been on a spending spree, the Mail said, including spending thousands of pounds renovating her house in Sussex and looking for apartments in New York and Los Angeles.
McCartney has been living comparatively quietly, The Mail said, spending time with his new girlfriend and Bea, his daughter with Mills.
