Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. (OTC:TTNDY), manufacturer of Ryobi(R) brand outdoor power equipment, has chosen G-OIL(TM) Biodegradable 2-Cycle Eco Engine Oil to be the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplied 2-cycle oil for select 2009 Ryobi(R) Outdoor Power Equipment products. A 2.6 oz bottle of Green Earth Technologies' (Pink Sheets:GETG) G-OIL(TM) will be placed inside the packaging of Ryobi equipment, which includes string trimmers and blowers.
"This is the first move to co-brand TTI equipment with this top-performing, environmentally responsible product," says Lee Sowell, President of Techtronic's Outdoor Division. "In the coming months, our partnership with GET will provide many more opportunities for our customers to experience superior performing green products."
In addition to co-branding Ryobi products with G-OIL(TM), TTI has just received the first of many shelf-destined shipments of the 2-cycle oil as well as G.E.T.'s Biodegradable Bar & Chain Eco Oil(TM). Both products will be distributed throughout TTI's national network of retailers in the upcoming weeks.
"Getting G-OIL into the hands of consumers is top priority for Green Earth Technologies," says Jeff Marshall, President and CEO of GET. "We know that once consumers experience the performance our oils deliver, there will be no turning back. TTI is helping us reach our target buyers and take our business to the next level."
G-OIL meets American Petroleum Institute (API) requirements for TC Rating for performance and engine protection. Test results showed that G-OIL met or exceeded the allowed tolerance of a benchmark reference oil on key performance criteria. For more information, visit www.getg.com
