Chemtura to Increase Prices on Flame Retardant HBCD Derivatives.

In response to significant raw material cost inflation, Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM), will increase prices on its derivatives of the flame retardant HBCD used in polystyrene. Specific product lines affected are:
-- CD-75P and SP-75, will increase by 9%. This increase is effective globally on August 1, 2008 or as contracts allow.
Chemtura is a leading global producer of polymer additives, including flame retardants, antioxidants, UV stabilizers, heat stabilizers, polymer modifiers and catalysts.
