BOULDER, Colo., July 30 /PRNewswire/ — EnergyWindow, Inc., a supplier of information technology-based tools and strategic consulting services for the procurement and management of energy supply used by large businesses, today announced it has been awarded the 2008 JCPenney Procurement Supplier Award.

EnergyWindow received this award for its key role in helping JCPenney to develop a comprehensive energy sourcing strategy. In working with EnergyWindow during 2007 alone, JCPenney was successful in completing 33 electric and natural gas sourcing projects, with 15 different energy suppliers, thus assisting JCPenney in mitigating the cost of natural gas and electricity needed to operate its facilities.

“EnergyWindow specializes in helping large energy users develop energy procurement strategies that are designed both to hold the line on, or reduce, escalating energy costs, as well as minimize the risk of volatile energy pricing that can negatively affect a company’s bottom line,” said Dr. Jack Mason, president and founder of EnergyWindow, Inc. “We’re honored to receive the award. Even more important, we are honored to have worked closely with JCPenney to help them develop a strategic energy procurement program that is designed to minimize risk and energy costs.”
