The plant, owned by Tucson Electric Power Company, a subsidiary of UniSource Energy Corporation (NYSE:UNS) (Tucson, Arizona), began construction in February 2007. Major equipment included a boiler supplied by Foster Wheeler (NASDAQ:FWLT) (Clinton, New Jersey) and a steam turbine/generator by Mitsubishi (TYO:8058) (Chiyoda, Tokyo).
