Dayton, Ohio, Community College’s Aviation Program Expands Pilot Training

Jul. 31–DAYTON — Sinclair Community College’s aviation training program is offering a new, light sport pilot ground school course for the fall quarter.

It will be offered on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

The college has scheduled an open house on Monday, Aug. 11, for its aviation technology program, which offers pilot, aircraft maintenance, airline flight attendant, aircraft dispatcher and aviation management training.

The open house will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at Aviation Sales Inc. at Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport on Ohio 741 in Miami Twp. Aviation Sales provides Sinclair’s pilot training.

Sinclair’s aviation program has developed in recent years as a feeder program for commuter airlines and business aircraft charter companies.
