Qwest Communications Offers Verizon Wireless Products and Services

Qwest Communications has announced that it is offering Verizon Wireless services to all new residential and business customers in its residential service area. Through the five-year agent agreement announced earlier in 2008, new Qwest customers can now purchase Verizon Wireless products and services, including handsets, smartphones and BlackBerry devices, as well as high-speed wireless broadband services for e-mail, internet access and multimedia services, such as mobile music and video.
According to Qwest, its customers can purchase Verizon Wireless services at its retail outlets, kiosks and online. In the near future, Qwest will begin contacting its wireless customers with specific Verizon Wireless device and calling plan recommendations. At that time, the company will waive the contract termination fees for its wireless customers who switch to Verizon Wireless sold through it.
John Colaiuti, vice president of national distribution for Verizon Wireless, said: "We look forward to delivering to Qwest customers all the benefits of our brand to provide the best wireless experience available."
