Jet Airways Selects Wirecard's International Payment Solutions

Jet Airways, a private Indian airline, has opted for International Air Transport Association-billing settlement plan payment solutions from Wirecard, a provider of electronic payment and risk management applications.
According to Wirecard, the range it offers comprises of individually tailored, industry- and customer-specific payment and risk management solutions, ranging from billing settlement plan in the airline sector and point of sale terminal solutions in the stationary segment all the way through to fraud protection solutions for tele-shopping and internet commerce.
V Janakiraman, head of revenue accounting at Jet Airways, said: "The reason for our decision for Wirecard was the high reputation Wirecard enjoys in the airline industry. We chose Wirecard because our partner airlines were impressed with the efficiency and performance of their payment solutions."
