Menzies Secures Seattle-Tacoma Ramp Handling Contract From Virgin America

Menzies Aviation, a provider of airfreight ground handling services for freight forwarders and airlines, has been awarded the ramp handling and cabin cleaning contract by Virgin America at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, beginning on August 5, 2008, making it the third awarded location of the seven current destinations served by Virgin America.
Menzies Aviation currently provides ground handling and cabin cleaning services for Virgin America in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Phil Harnden, vice president of commercial and corporate services for Americas at Menzies Aviation, said: "We are delighted to have been chosen by Virgin America for ground handling and cabin cleaning services in Seattle. Since their inception in 2007, Virgin America continues to impress travelers in the domestic airline market with their innovative and high-value customer experience."
