The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said CF Sauer Foods Inc. is recalling Gold Medal-brand spaghetti sauce mix because of a labeling error.
The FDA said the Richmond, Va., company recalled the sauce mix because it might contain undeclared milk protein, posing a health risk for people allergic to dairy products.
The Gold Medal spaghetti sauce mix with a code date of 8119R was sold in Mississippi, Kentucky and Alabama.
Consumers with questions can contact the company at 800-688-5676.
