Badger State Ethanol Gas Station Opens

Platteville's Business U.S. 151 East Corridor has its first gas station. Badger State Ethanol opened for business last week, just south of the Mineral Street and East Side Road intersection.The business sells only ethanol - blends of E-10, E-25 and E- 85.Platteville Community Planning Director Joe Carrol said that as of now, there are no additional gas stations planned for the East Corridor.The Badger State Ethanol station will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7.There will be special deals, and the first 85 cars to buy 8 1/2 gallons of E-85 will get a free $20 gas card.
