Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- GE Energy, a subsidiary of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) (Fairfield, Connecticut), has secured a contract from Cairn India Limited (BOM:532792) (Gurgaon, Haryana) to supply 32 Jenbacher J420 GS gas engines for power generation for Cairn's upcoming crude oil pipeline. The engines will be installed at 32 locations along the route of the pipeline and will constitute an overall skin effect heat management system.
