Switzerland and Vietnam have agreed to an exchange program to train Vietnamese students in fields ranging from banking and finance to science and technology.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Ha Noi National University will exchange students and lecturers with Swiss Lausanne and Geneva University, Vietnam News reported Wednesday.
In addition to the exchange, the countries plan to conduct joint research and organize a series of professional workshops and seminars, Vietnam News says.
Vietnam's Minister of Education Nguyen Thien Nhan said at a signing ceremony Tuesday that the countries have been cooperating on training in a number of fields for 12 years.
