Aug. 6--EINSTEIN A HIT WITH PASSENGERS: Abu Dhabi Airport claims some 2.3 million people will see Einstein, the 140 million year old dinosaur, while it is on display in terminal 1. Since going on display in mid-July, the airport says some 360,000 travellers and residents have seen the 23m, 4.5 tonne Apatosauraus. Most are the 25,000 passengers arriving at the airport every day.

GULF AIR APPOINTS DEPUTY CEO: Bahrain-based carrier Gulf Air has appointed former CFO Ismail Karimi as deputy CEO. The Bahraini national has been with the group for 15 years. The carrier is undertaking a major realignment programme following financial setbacks.
