Southern Union Appoints President of Gathering and Processing Business

Southern Union Company, a natural gas mid stream company, has appointed Roger Farrell as senior vice president of midstream operations for Southern Union Company and president of Southern Union Gas Services, the company's gathering and processing business.
Prior to joining Southern Union, Mr Farrell was most recently a part owner and senior officer at Tempest Energy Resources, a partnership focused on midstream and upstream investment opportunities.
Eric Herschmann, president and COO of Southern Union, said: "We are very happy to have someone of Roger's caliber join our management team. His leadership skills and vast experience, coupled with the talented group of employees at Southern Union Gas Services, will help us continue to enhance and grow that aspect of our business."
