AirTran Airways Launches Richmond-New York Service

AirTran Airways has launched a new service between the Richmond International Airport in Richmond, Virginia, and the LaGuardia Airport in New York.
The airline has added two new daily non-stop flights between the two cities, which are operated with Boeing 717 aircraft.
Kevin Healy, senior vice president of marketing and planning for AirTran Airways, said: "The addition of these flights and a third destination out of Richmond International Airport are evidence of AirTran Airways's continued commitment to Richmond travelers. Our expansion to the New York area adds our unique blend of low fare, high-quality service between key business and leisure markets."
