Kauderer Group Energy Submits Letter of Intent to Broker Purchase Land for Construction of Biodiesel Plant

Kauderer Group Energy, an independent consultant specializing in technology, economics, and management practice for the international oil, gas, chemical, and related industries, announced today that it has submitted a Letter of Intent to broker the purchase of an 87-acre site in Marion, OH for the construction of a biodiesel manufacturing facility.

The site is located in the same industrial area as Union Tank Car Company--about fifty miles north of Columbus, OH, on the bypass of State Route 27 and State Route 309--and has already been zoned for bio-fuels.

The proposed plant will have the capacity to produce 12.6 Million gallons of biodiesel in its first year of operation. Ohio currently has operational biodiesel plants in Defiance, Medina, Cincinnati, Toledo and Woodstock, with several other plants under construction. The United States has an estimated total of 148 biodiesel refineries in operation.

Brian Duffy, Director of Global Client Services for Kauderer Group Energy, has recently been added to the team to spearhead the new division with Eleazar Kauderer.
