Tyre on Iran Passenger Plane Catch Fire in Saudi

The pilot of an Iranian aircraft which was caught in an incident in Jeddah airport this morning blamed a metal object on the runway for the incident.

According to a report by IRNA, the issue is under investigation by the Iranian experts and officials.

Tyres of an airbus aircraft belonging to Homa airlines burst and caught fire while taking off from Jeddah airport. The incident prompted speedy reaction by the airport's fire fighters and the fire was tamed. None of the 286 passengers of the aircraft were injured.
