Schuff International, Inc. Announces $112 Million in New Project Awards

Schuff International, Inc. (OTC: SHFK), a family of companies providing fully integrated steel construction services, has been awarded $112 million in new construction contracts and/or letters of intent since the start of 3rd Quarter 2008. Schuff International, Inc. owns and operates eight steel fabrication plants and two steel joist manufacturing plants. Companies are located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Nevada, and Texas.

Two of these projects are located in California, where Schuff Steel Company, the largest steel fabrication and erection company in the United States, recently opened a new office in Oakland to service the Northern California market. Other California offices are in San Diego and Newport Beach. From 2005 to 2007, Schuff’s California operations have experienced 80% growth due to strong demand for Schuff’s design-build/design-assist and 3D modeling/BIM solutions.

Schuff is experiencing record backlog levels, despite a sluggish economy. According to Scott A.
