Verticent, a developer of enterprise software solutions for metal service centers, has announced that Commercial Fluid Power, a steel machining company, plans to implement the Verticent ERP solution at each of its six plants.
Rich Finnicum, CFO of Commercial Fluid Power, said: "Our current solution only partially met the needs of our machining business, so our goal was to implement one solution to bring all departments, product lines, locations and companies together under one integrated metals industry solution."
Scott Cranford, director of sales of Verticent, said: "Here at Verticent, long ago we established a strong track record in metal service centers and specifically in those service centers who continue to offer more and more value added services. Adding Commercial Fluid Power to our customer family is a natural as they join a large group of hybrid service centers and steel manufacturers and very likely will have a significant role within the metals special interest group here at Verticent."
