August 13, 2008

American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, has announced that it will launch daily non-stop flight between the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and the Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, beginning November 2, 2008. The airline will operate the service with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.

Peter Bowler, president and CEO of American Eagle, said: “We are pleased to begin this new service to the heartland of Illinois. Along with the three daily flights that Eagle currently offers to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Eagle now offers more service to central Illinois, enabling our customers to connect through our two largest hubs to anywhere in the world that American, American Eagle and our oneworld partners fly.”
