Bp Stops Pumping Oil Through Baku-Supsa Pipeline

BAKU. Aug 12 (Interfax) – BP Azerbaijan has suspended the pumping of oil through the Baku-Supsa pipeline, which connects Azerbaijan with the Georgian Black Sea coast, the company told Interfax.

“We have suspended the pumping of oil as a precaution over the events in Georgia. We are closely watching this situation and a decision on the resumption of pumping will be made depending on its normalization,” the company said.
