Since completing his degree in project and construction management, Mr Lockyer, 28, has spent seven years at Wrekin Construction.
His new role at Cuddy includes management of sites throughout the country, overseeing the preparation of health and safety documentation, and the management of budgets, schedules and the behaviour of teams on site.
Mr Jones, who also joins Cuddy from Wrekin, will manage all civil engineering contracts within the group. With more than 15 years’ experience in the field, he boasts an impressive array of experience after working on high value highway and construction projects for numerous major contractors.
Cuddy director Darren Evans said: “We have had a fantastic 12 months in South Wales with projects such as the Swalec cricket stadium, the enabling works for the new Cardiff City and Blues stadium, and the design and construction of a new treatment plant.
“The appointments reflect the success our civil engineering division is experiencing.”
