Chaparral Energy Schedules Second Quarter 2008 Earnings Conference Call

OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Chaparral Energy, Inc. announced today it will hold a conference call on Thursday, August 14, at 1:00 p.m. CDT to discuss its second quarter 2008 financial and operating results. Prior to the call the Company will release its 10-Q for the period ending June 30, 2008.
Interested parties may participate in the call by dialing (303) 262-2143 and asking for the Chaparral Energy conference call 10 minutes prior to the start time. The conference call will also be accessible via live webcast in the investor relations section of the Company's website, http://www.chaparralenergy.com/.
Chaparral Energy, Inc. announced on July 15, 2008, that the Company and Edge Petroleum Corporation have entered into a definitive merger agreement that provides for Chaparral to acquire Edge in an all-stock transaction.
