Uzbek, South Korea Airlines to Build Regional Centre of Logistics

A regional centre of logistics, the largest in the Central Asia, will be set up at Navoiy airport in the [central Uzbek] town of Navoiy.

In mid May [2008], the largest South Korean airline – Korean Air and the Ozbekiston Havo Yollari national airline signed a memorandum of cooperation, which envisages expansion of partnership in developing new markets and infrastructure of logistics in Uzbekistan.
At the same time, the sides reached an agreement on building the largest centre of logistics at the airport in the town of Navoiy.
