O’Leary No to Airport
August 18, 2008
RYANAIR chief executive Michael O’Leary last night dismissed speculation the airline was lining up a pounds 2bn bid for Stansted Airport.
Liverpool Airport’s biggest airline was linked with a possible bid last week. Stansted is its biggest hub.
Mr O’Leary said he would work closely alongside whoever bought it, but said he has never had any interest in owning it.
