SunEdison Enters into Five-Year Solar Energy Development Agreement With Q-Cells

SunEdison, a solar energy services provider, has entered into a five-year, 800MW development agreement in North America with Q-Cells International USA.
Under the development agreement, Q-Cells will supply solar modules to meet total capacity of up to 800MW. In addition, the companies will jointly develop and operate photovoltaic solar power systems in North America.
Carlos Domenech, COO of SunEdison, said: "This development agreement uniquely positions SunEdison to bring solar to a meaningful scale for the industry and our customers. As a pioneer of the solar energy services model, we are pleased to bring Q-Cells's solar technology to the market in the context of a fully managed, long-term solution."
