Good Steward Software, a provider of energy efficiency software tools, has announced that the State of Colorado through the Governor's Energy Office has selected its EnergyCAP utility tracking tool to manage and report energy and water use.
To support the State Governor's energy and water efficiency goals on a local level, Good Steward provides preferred pricing to Colorado local governments, schools, and political subdivisions through a state price agreement. The pricing is based on population or student enrollment.
Angie Fyfe, program manager of Greening Government at the Governor's Energy Office, said: "The first step to effectively manage and reduce energy and water use is to ensure that utility data is consistently reported, analyzed, tracked, and base-lined. The EnergyCAP tool will allow us to do that on a statewide basis for the first time."
